Fall Favorites from Ferm Living
Aesthetic + functional sculptural furniture, moody accessories, and lighting
When it comes to new pieces for the modern home, Danish design brand Ferm Living never fails to disappoint. Let’s take a look at the newest additions to the Ferm Living collection.
Sculptural Furniture
A sculptural design that serves multiple uses, the brand new UTA Piece works perfect as a side table, casual seating, or a plinth to showcase your favorite object. It’s made with solid, dark-stained, FSC-certified pinewood. Pictured above the UTA Piece is another new Ferm Living piece: the Fracture Shelf. Made from 100% recycled aluminum, the shelf resembles the form of an organically fractured stone. While it’s shown alongside the UTA Piece as a bedside shelf, it works great throughout the home and can be styled in clusters for a textured and organic look.
Can we just take a moment to appreciate the splendor of Ferm Living’s Mineral Sculptural Table? This 100% Bianco Curia marble statement piece contrasts beautifully polished surfaces with hand-chipped rough edges.
Mineral Sculptural Tables will start shipping from Batten Home’s US-based warehouse late November 2021. Order yours today to get on the list.
With an organic shape atop legs carved into stretched elliptical shapes, the name of the Feve Desk comes from the French word fève, which means bean. This elegant desk is made in solid FSC-certified European Walnut. It packs a lot of design into little space, making it the perfect desk for the “corner” home office. If your work grows out of the space, you can opt to use it as an entryway console or a vanity table!
Feve Desks will start shipping from Batten Home’s US-based warehouse December 2021. Order yours today to get on the list.
Moody Accessories + Lighting
Illuminate your workspace, living space, or resting space with the sculptural and portable Meridian Lamp. Designed to go anywhere, this modern table lamp provides 12 hours of light per charge. We love how the design is based on three simple geometric elements––minimal design at its finest!
Traditional basket weaving and pottery meet with the Oval Ceramic Basket. This handmade glazed ceramic basket can be used in a multitude of ways: use in the kitchen as a fruit bowl or place it on a coffee table to store remotes or display treasured trinkets.
For a decorative object that invites your attention, turn to the Tall Water Swirl Vase. Made by hand, the translucent glass is formed in a style reminiscent of the whirl and swirl of cascading liquid. We love how light filters through the glass, making it a decorative object that doesn’t require flowers, stems, or branches. Since the vases are formed using a mouth-blown glassmaking process, each vase is unique. Pair it with the Round Water Swirl Vase and its various earthy hues.
The Yama collection is named after yama, the Japanese word for mountain. As you can see, the sculptural pieces are inspired by the wild, untamed landscape of a mountain range. Each piece is made from recycled casted aluminum with a rough, matte finish to contrast its curving silhouette. Pictured above is the Yama Pencil Holder, which has 3 compartments at varying heights, perfect for different types of stationery or art supplies. See all of the Yama collection pieces right here.
The Basho Brass Wall Hanger frees up valuable counter space by allowing you to hang your soaps or other bathroom products directly from the wall.
Pair the Basho Brass Wall Hanger with the Basho Oval Brass Tray for a clean, structured, and classic look on your bathroom counter.
Seeking some wall-mounted storage for a hallway, closet, bedroom, or bathroom? The Hang Rack is a simple minimalist solution that comes in solid black brass, brass, or stainless steel. The single hook leaves space for up to four coat hangers.
Made from solid black or regular brass with a satisfying matte finish, the Curvature Paper Towel Holder turns the need for paper towel storage into an art form. It’s so beautiful, you’ll be happy to run out of paper towels to showcase its beautiful twisted curves. We consider it an essential for the modern minimalist kitchen.
The new Verrines Glass Set is a part of the iconic Ripple collection. In fact, each glass can also be used as a lid for the Ripple Carafe! The set is inspired by French dining, providing you with four mouth-blown petite glasses for water, wine, or indulgent dessert drinks. Like all Ripple glasses, enjoy the iridescent play of light and textures that appear on each glass’s ripples.
With the use of an adjustable dimmer switch, the Vuelta Lamp emits a soft and diffused light that reminds you of ancient columns. The light is made from Opal glass with a beautifully detailed ripple texture.
Made from a two-tone mix of clays, the ceramic stoneware Inlay Cup and Saucer features a lovely large-scale pattern reminiscent of marble. We love how the oversized saucer invites you to have a pastry or snack with your comforting warm drink.
Cozy Textiles
The Square and Rectangle Crease Wool Cushions have lines inspired by modern architecture. Its front is a mix of high pile and flat woven wool, tufted in a minimal and geometric pattern. The back is kept flat woven.
The Large Crease Wool Cushion makes for a great floor cushion! You can also grab two for your bed or get all three sizes to add some texture and comfort to your couch.
The textured tufted Crease Wool Rug is made from 100% New Zealand wool. We love its asymmetric fringes! It comes in two sizes that work in a variety of living spaces.
