A Few Of Our Favorite Designs

At Batten Home, we hand select every single design, including our lounge chairs. Still, we have a few select favorites, some of which we use every day in our own home.

Arne Jacobsen's iconic Egg Lounge Chair is a Danish design masterpiece. This Scandinavian design icon is one of Arne Jacobsen's most celebrated designs. We love how it swivels and perfectly curves to the body.

We value both classic designs and new approaches to lounge chair design, including FRAMA's Symmetry Lounge Chair. Designed in collaboration with Copenhagen-based designer Nikolaj Lorentz Mentze, Symmetry is a comfy and durable piece with a functional and straightforward design. We love the use of darkened ash wood which contrasts perfectly with the light linen textile upholstery.

The Meadow Lounge Chair from WOUD showcases soft, organic shapes and curvy lines, creating a solid yet airy silhouette. Meadow delivers exceptional comfort with its wide seat and gently swaying metal frame, actively supporting the natural movement of the body.

The CH25 Lounge Chair was designed by Hans J. Wegner using woven paper cord, a replacement for seagrass developed during World War II. Paper cord is naturally durable with a fresh, organic look. Each chair is made by hand by a skilled craftsman.

The Rico Lounge Chair from Ferm Living has a timeless yet modern feel defined by soft curves that embrace you as you sit.

MUUTO's Cover Lounge Chair is another timeless yet modern design that offers optimal comfort despite taking up very little space.

Chaise Lounge Chairs For Outdoor/Pool

Craft your own outdoor oasis with these outdoor-friendly lounge options.

The Bauhaus Lounge Chair by Kristina Dam Studio is a sculptural, minimalist piece that adds architectural character to any space. With a durable steel frame and weather-resistant powder coating, it works equally well indoors or outdoors, making it a perfect accent chair for a bedroom or common area.

The Carl Hansen & Søn FK10 and FK11 Plico Chairs showcase exceptional craftsmanship with its visible joints and brass fittings. Designed by Fabricius Kastholm, this chair offers supreme comfort with soft upholstery and an adjustable backrest that can fold completely. Plico is true to its name, meaning "to fold" in Latin.

101 Copenhagen's distinct Toe Chair offers an outdoor-friendly option made with Sunproof fabric. Sunproof is a water-resistant and UV-protected material specifically designed to withstand outdoor conditions. The neutral Taupe color adds a soft, understated elegance to outdoor patios, terraces, or gardens, complementing a wide range of styles.

101 Copenhagen's Brutus Lounge Chair has a simplified block-like structure reminiscent of the Brutalist architectural movement. The use of lightweight fiber concrete makes Brutus lightweight yet durable.

Ferm Living's Rouli series, inspired by the French word "Roulis" (the gentle sway of waves), is a flexible modular sofa that can be used as a lounge seat with a singular piece. Rouli is suitable both indoor and outdoor use with a removable cover that makes cleaning easy. Plus, each piece arrives vacuum-packed to save on shipping space, offering a stylish and practical solution for your home.

The Desert Lounge Chair from Ferm Living combines a sleek, modern design with a durable tubular, powder-coated steel frame. Its interchangeable handwoven seat is made from 100% recycled post-consumer plastic, spun into PET yarn. Perfect for both indoor and outdoor use, this chair is designed for ultimate relaxation.
