The Fiber Lounge Chair with Wood Base by MUUTO was designed by Iskos-Berlin as an updated and more dynamic version of the already popular MUUTO shell chair. The Fiber Lounge Chair is made from a unique combination of plastic and wood fibers, which allow it to offer texture with a unique shape to any room it's used it.
The Copenhagen-based team of two is known for their contributions to the design world via furniture and lighting and their work has been featured at both the Danish Design Museum and MoMA - making their collaboration and extension of the Fiber Chair Collection with MUUTO truly iconic.
We love the cool low profile of the Fiber Lounge Chair styled in the living room or as a seating area in a master or guest bedroom. Its matted material is soft and perfectly complimented by an oak wood base which brings a level of warmth and style to the Fiber Lounge Chair.
The Visu Lounge Chair shell consists of a wood and plastic blend, and the chair is also available in MUUTO upholstery textile or leather. Wood legs are made from solid oak and finished with a water lacquer.
