The Skagerak Vent Bench is a two seat version of the popular Skagerak Vent Stool. Vent being Danish for "Wait", The Vent series was originally designed as museum seating, allowing for a resting place to observe and consider the galleries art.
The Skagerak Vent Bench features a hand woven papercord seating surface that is hard wearing and extremely comfortable. The woven seat is made in Denmark in collaboration with ‘Blindes Arbejde’, a sheltered workshop for people who are blind or partially sighted.
The papercord is wrapped around a back steel frame which provides a minimal expression and strong craftsmanship.
