Tables
From side tables to 3-in-1 sideboards, desks, and dining tables, see what inspiring table designs Design House Stockholm has to offer.
Matti Klennel collaborated with Design House Stockholm for the Pedestal Table, a simple table that is easy to rearrange wherever you need a surface. Whether you wish to display a sculpture, showcase a vase, or simply have a spot to rest a drink or a laptop, the Pedestal Table is the perfect solution. We love how you can use the five included spacers to adjust the height of the table. Get a few and set at various heights for a dimensional look, or simply opt for one. Made of solid oak, Pedestal comes in a regular oak finish, or black or white painted oak.
With a design as elegant as an Aria in an opera house, the Aria Coffee Table is a masterwork in design. Crafted in solid oak and finished with a Japanese quality dye that is carefully polished in layer after layer of the wood, Aria has a striking yet simple form. The legs and the tabletop almost appear to be separated, as if the circular top is suspended in plain air. "I chose the name Aria inspired by the opera and air itself," remarks Icelandic designer Dögg Guðmundsdóttir. "It’s like singing an air, and it does really fly like music, or a Frisbee if you like." Aria comes in a high and low version, which can be styled together for a layered look, or on their own for a compact coffee table.
The Flip Table series is a 3-in-1 foldable table that functions as a sideboard, a desk, and a table thanks to thoughtfully designed hinges that take the table from small, to medium, to large. “I already had the basic idea from the first sketches I drew and didn’t let it go until I was 100 per cent satisfied,” says designer Jesper Ståhl, who was set on solving a common problem for those who live in smaller homes. After a lot of experimentation, the result is the Flip Table, which folds lengthways to create three different sizes. The Flip Table comes in 3 functional sizes.
The Arco Series, which includes tables in multiple sizes including a desk size, has an interesting backstory. When self-taught designer and carpenter Chuck Mack started building houses, he always began with sets of carpenter trestles that were strong, light, and stackable. Oftentimes, he got praise for the quality of his trestles, and that's when Mack decided to one day elevate the trestle design to an art form with the Arco table series./p>
Seating

The Wick office chair series is the perfect combination of comfort, mobility, and sophisticated design. Inspired by traditional Swedish basket-weaving techniques, the chair features a unique, open-weave backrest that provides both support and ventilation. Its ergonomic design ensures long-lasting comfort, while its elegant form adds a touch of Scandinavian charm to your office environment.
The Family Chair No. 2 and No.3 are the result of designer Lina Nordqvist's modern interpretation of the traditional Swedish stick back chair. These chairs have one numerous awards, including the New York Accent on Design Award< in 2009./p>
The Torso Chair and Bar Stool draws inspiration from the traditional hunter chair. Lisa Hilland thoughtfully chose materials for the design, with a wooden seat, a leather backrest, and a sturdy metal frame. The framework and leather back are produced in Sweden.
Made with powder-coated steel, the Gardener's Sofa provides outdoor seating that can become an element of the garden itself––its lattice-like steel frame enables you to grow flowers and plants around it. We simply love this imaginative design from Eva Schildt.
Storage

The Frame collection is an open shelving system that highlights rather than hides treasured items. Designer Harald Hermanrud describes it best:
"Architecture is changing with modern spaces where floor to ceiling glass walls and built-in closets requires open and transparent shelving systems that doesn't shade the daylight while also creating a platform for decoration. Frame will fit well against a wall, as a back to a sofa, as room dividers or as freestanding units. I saw a need to put things on display, and I wanted to give people the opportunity to create the perfect scene for their most valued artworks, LP’s, books, and plants all by themselves."
The Air Cabinet and Sideboards by Design House Stockholm are a striking piece that balances transparency and texture. Made from a combination of oak veneered MDF and natural rattan, Air's design allows for a subtle play of light and shadow, creating an airy, almost ethereal effect.
