The Fritz Hansen Rocking Horse was brought to life from an image of an early prototype originally designed by Fritz Hansen in 1946. This modern sculptural decorative piece is crafted using a single piece of pressure-molded veneer––the same material used for Arne Jacobsen's stackable chairs, and a part of Fritz Hansen's legacy. This crafting process was not yet possible in 1946, which captures the ambition of Fritz Hansen's craftspeople even in the early years.
Both versions come with harness leather ears and a flagline tail.
