The Pepper Bird

The Spring Copenhagen Pepper Bird is a Danish designed pepper grinder made from a high quality mahogany, ash, maple and walnut.

Originally designed in the 1950's, The Pepper Bird has been a Danish dining table favorite.

Featuring the Danish-patented Tucan Pepper Grinder as its mechanism, the design is playful but also highly usable.

Sven Erik Tonn-Petersen’s idea for the Pepper Bird was to create a simple and recognizable everyday icon which was both functional and suitable for decorating any dining table.

In 2015, the Pepper Bird was relaunched by Spring Copenhagen in partnership with Sven Erik Tonn-Petersen’s family.
